Wonderful ambiance and delicious salami. The younger guy who served us that night I found a bit condescending and at first didn't want us to try the salami unless we really buy. But the gentleman behind the counter who spoke Spanish was especially kind to my son and was very honest about us not being able to bring back meat and cheeses back in the UK. He was very warm and welcoming.

To the ones who complain is too expensive: go to supermarket buy bread rools,cheap ham and cheese and nake your sanwich on the street!!! DONT'T TRY TO GET FERRARI WITH MONEY FOR BICYCLE!!! This is the oldest Salumeria right beside Pantheon!!! Very nice staff, really lovely people, made me SUUUUUPER sandwich. Always super friendly. I'll be back for sure!!! Great wine selection. We stopped at the Antica Salumeria at the Piazza Rotonda right in front of the Pantheon. Not a location where I would normally look for food, but what can go wrong at a salumeria? The front room is mainly a sandwich deli and wine shop, but we slipped into an inconspicuous back room equipped with a few tables. Shortly after, we were presented with a tasting platter of salumi, cheeses, bread and olives that resembled nothing so much as a curated culinary flower. Read more at: https://www.painperdutravel.com. With two drinks, the tab was 45 euro with plenty of leftovers to take home. It could have fed 5-6 people.

Lovely staff – true legends! We asked for some ham and they sliced it perfectly, exactly the amount we wanted. The store is spotless, clean, and very well organized. We picked up some prosciutto and beers, then sat outside to enjoy them while admiring the Pantheon. A perfect Roman moment!

Beautiful deli / eatery we found by chance. Amazing, friendly, welcoming staff with delicious foods. We got a scrumptious cheese and meats charcuterie board which was incredible - meat was cut off the bone in front of us. My highlight was the pork and the parmigiano reggiano was the best I ever tasted but it was all amazing. This place is definitely worth a visit for a deli or sit in. I believe it’s family run and you definitely feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!

These sandwiches are a true treat! Each one is crafted with the finest ingredients, bursting with flavor and freshness. While they are on the pricier side, the taste and quality make them worth every penny. A must-try for sandwich lovers who appreciate gourmet flavors!

Again I was not disappointed without visiting to Antica Salumeria. It is located in the piazza outside the Pantheon. I don’t think I can visit Rome anymore without sitting at one of the tables in the back of Antica Salumeria underneath all the prosciutti and amongst the smells of all the deliciousness. Our waiter, Giorgio completes the experience with his great advice and calm demeanor. Giorgio personalised our experience, thank you Giorgio. Do yourself a favor and visit the Salumeria next time you visit Rome.
